What it does

Unit Drills trains the skill underneath every engineering calculation: getting the units right. Practice conversions across pressure, flow, energy, force, density, and more, then face the classic traps: lbm vs. lbf, gauge vs. absolute pressure, and temperature vs. temperature change. Every answer comes with a step-by-step cancellation, so you see exactly where the units go.

• Step-by-step unit cancellation. Every conversion shows each factor as a fraction with the cancelled unit struck through, so the method sticks, not just the answer.
• Trap questions. lbm vs. lbf (g_c), gauge vs. absolute pressure (using the local atmosphere, not just sea level), and temperature vs. temperature difference.
• Feedback that names your mistake. Pick or type a wrong answer and the app tells you what went wrong, like “flipped the ft conversion factor” or “forgot to add atmospheric pressure.”
• Multiple choice and typed answers. Typed answers within 1% count, and a miss shows how far off you were.
• Today’s 10. A fresh set of ten questions every day, with a streak to keep.
• Topic drills. Nine focused topics, from pressure and flow to each of the three traps.
• Speed round. Twenty questions against the clock, with a 5-second penalty per miss. Beat your best time.
